Wheel Clamp

Four clamp designs, each with a fitted model plus two ground props: lockpicked and cut for the wheel clamps, released and smashed for the windscreen clamp.

Lockpicked: the padlock lies sprung open with the intact chain hanging free. Cut: the chain is severed at a link, the locked padlock hangs on a stub, and grinder scratches mark the shield.

Lockpicked: the carriage, outer arm, collar, and tommy bar are wound out, exposing the lead screw and guide rods. Cut: the crossbar and lead screw are ground through, leaving the claw in two halves.

Lockpicked: the slider retracts and the upper arm telescopes out so its hook clears the tyre. Cut: the arm is ground through outside the rim, with the severed hook lying beside the disc.

Released: the suction cups relax and the plungers pop up showing red bands, with the display reading RELEASED. Smashed: the clamp lies on its back with cracked laminated glass torn out on its cups and TAMPER ALERT on the display.

Cut props show 3 mm kerf faces with visible bores and screw sections, bare steel beside the cut, and grinder striations.

Forced removals drop the matching state beside the vehicle as a physics prop with collision that anyone nearby can pick up.

Holds the driver in first person behind the panel and sounds a beeping alarm when the vehicle moves, through zyke_sounds or the vehicle's own alarm.

Enter the release code the fitter set, or pay a configurable fee to a society account. Wrong codes lock the keypad and sound the alarm, and exports hand codes to billing or MDT resources.

Smash the glass with a configured melee weapon and the clamp falls off with the broken windscreen, setting off the alarm.

Released windscreen clamps are carried in the player's arms, then set down on the ground or stored in the inventory.

NPC witnesses report lockpicking and grinding, and windscreen alarms always alert. Chances, delays, cooldowns, and a dispatch hook are configurable.

Fits to the nearest of the four wheels through a timed, crouched interaction that cancels on movement, ragdoll, or vehicle motion.

Each fitting issues a clamp_key that only unlocks that exact clamp, with the wheel, plate, and serial in its description.

Choose wheel-lock physics with drag and tyre bursts, a hard freeze, or a prop-only clamp.

Remove clamps, use keypads, smash windscreens, and pick up dropped clamps through ox_target or qb-target.

Uses the zyke_lockpick minigame when installed and a built-in skill check otherwise; the clamp drops in its lockpicked state with its wear intact.

Grind clamps off with zyke_anglegrinder through staged pressure cuts; the clamp drops in its cut state as scrap.

Clamps wear with use, and only undamaged clamps can be fitted, so ground-off clamps cannot be reused.

Clamps survive disconnects, despawns, garage parking, and server restarts using batched database writes.
