Drag the arms under the car and work the power unit by hand.
Pump, locks, and pawl clicks heard by everyone nearby.
Every player sees the lift and car move together.
Place lifts where you aim, lined up or free.
Lifts and the cars on them come back after a restart.
Exports, events, and rules for your other resources.
Each lift has two posts with carriages, four swing arms, a lock release on the posts, and a power unit on the right post.
Drive a car between the posts with the lift all the way down, then drag each pad to the ring under its jacking point. A and D step between corners.
A car parked a little off centre or crooked is moved square into the middle of the lift as the arms are opened, so all four pads sit evenly. The tolerance is configurable.
Carriages stop at low for creeper work, waist for wheels and corners, and high to walk under the car. Each stop lands on the lock of the posts nearest to it.
Hold E to raise and Q to lower to the next stop, W or S to send the carriages all the way up or down, and Space to stop them.
Every player in the bay sees the lift and the car at the same position as the carriages travel.
Admins run /vehiclelifts to place lifts where they aim, lined up with the nearest lift in 5 cm steps or placed freely, and remove them with the same tool.
Placed lifts are saved in the database, and lifts and the cars on them stand again after a restart. The table is made on first start, so there is no SQL to import.
Lifts placed with a bucket are only seen and worked from that routing bucket, so instanced interiors can each have their own.
The power unit and arms are used through interaction markers by default, or through ox_target or qb-target instead.
The pump, the oil flowing back, the lock release, the pawl clicking over each notch, and the carriages settling, played through zyke_sounds.
Other resources can refuse work on a lift, hold a car no lower than a given stop, or keep it frozen once it is back on its wheels.
Other resources can tilt and raise a car on the pads, and the trim stays with it while it is lowered and raised again.
Client and server exports for lifts and cars on them, busy checks, and server events for every lift moved, car lifted, and car lowered.
Editable client and server hooks restrict who can set the arms or move a lift, such as only mechanics.
Props stream in within 90 m, and nothing runs every frame while a lift stands still.
