Angle Grinder

An equipable angle grinder item with a held prop that every nearby player sees. Dying or getting into a vehicle puts it away.

Discs come in three tiers that last one, two, and four times as long. Each disc keeps its own durability, and spent discs come back broken.

The battery drains a little on every grind and recharges at the vendor. Batteries can be set to never run out or be removed entirely.

Inventory icons and held props follow the fitted disc and battery, including broken and battery-less variants.

Hold or tap to push the disc into the material and keep the needle inside the zone as it wanders. Nothing is random, so perfect play wears only the base amount.

Outside the zone the cut stops while the disc wears six times faster. The first two seconds of every cut are free, and a disc that runs out mid-cut breaks and fails the grind.

Nearby peds hear the grinder, while peds and drivers further out need to see it. Each supported resource decides whether its grind is legal.

Vendor peds sell the grinder, discs, and batteries, buy back spent discs, and recharge carried batteries.

Every step of a grind, its timing, and all disc wear are verified on the server.

Server events and Discord webhook logging cover grinds, broken discs, depleted batteries, and witnessed illegal grinds.

Any resource can register a cuttable target. The grinder handles the minigame, animation, sparks, sound, disc wear, and witness checks, then hands back the verified result.
